THE PCOS DIVA MENU PLAN – March Week 4

Spring has sprung.  Time to shed our winter coats and lighten up!   Spring is a natural time to “detox” from the heavy foods that sustained us all winter.  You don’t have to do a major, “Master Cleanse” type detox to reap the benefits of feeling more balanced, energized, lighter and less bloated.  Just start loading your grocery cart full of  spring greens, sprouts and produce that have exceptional natural detoxifying power. Use the spring grocery list below and eat more of these detox foods from March through June.  I will be incorporating these foods into my menu plans during the spring season. Happy Spring!

SPRING PRODUCE LIST

alfalfa sprouts, artichokes, asparagus, bean sprouts, beets, berries, cabbage, carrots, celery, chicory, collard greens, dandelion, endive, fiddled greens, garlic, green beans, kale, leeks, lemon, mushrooms, mustard greens, parsley, radish, swiss chard, spinach, turnips, watercress

 
TUESDAY Spring Chicken and Quinoa Soup (the recipe calls for barley but I’ll substitute quinoa.)
